| Blog Subject: | Technological and human evolution over the next 1000 years. |
Why can't technological evolution continue to align with human evolution like it has done. Why do we have to jump into the deep end with rapid machine evolution why can't we take on big jumps in efficiency relative to what's possible over longer and longer intervals. I know that humans can adapt and for now and hopefully the next 1000 years with reasonable earth stability and don't underestimate how well nature can evolve given the room to evolve so we might have quite a few more dwelling spots by then. If you meet a long lived advanced et I'm sure they'd have stories to tell you about fools rushing in sometimes with regards to the issue of developing intelligence. |
