| Blog Subject: | Shifting between Anarchy and Empire across history. |
Usually an empire begins with middle men who got to big usually because some places can't sort their problems out well enough. Usually also an empire falls to decadence and decay or by being taken over by another empire. So across history we have times of anarchy and times of empire. The question is when this empire descends into what will at first seem like a very workable anarchy how long can we hold such a human workings at near optimal without letting middle men ruin it. |
