It turns out NVIDIA are backing off from acquiring ARM under concerns of tightening on the market if they did. However NVIDIA owning ARM still was tempting it may well have lead to AI and quality improvements. Maybe NVIDIA haven't got the idea wrong but maybe they should do a good job extending arm for many companies where Google Apple and power VR are also in the running. This probably means China will possibly super charge Power VR to compete with NVIDIA and maybe Google if they better complement the ARM licensing model. |
