The maths goes that the mass of the galaxy isn't enough to hold everything together and there isn't enough observed gravitation to hold galaxies together on a grander scale. So what if this is caused by the same phenomenon that being galaxies sucking in weak gravitation from around it amplifying galactic gravitation and stretching space-time between the galaxies. |
