A good blu ray codec would lye more the closer it got to randomness. so if you were paying random static the video codec will use pregenerated random noise in that style. If your noise is a bit randomized or chaotic it will lye about the outcome less. The closer you get to normalized patterns the closer you get to lossless. With lower bandwidth internet you have to lye more as to get a good quality reconstruction more than a closer to lossless blueray. This is not fully true but it would be very efficient use of different data rate videos. |
