The micro HDMI usually needs to be using a PI 4 compatible micro HDMI adaptor not cable unless it's an official lead. If needed a bios update can be a bit tricky and in the end you need to access the command line config app and turn off both boot write protection and file system write protection which is one of the options there. The advice out there can be a bit poor leading you off the track sometimes. It can be better to use a more stable USB flash instead of an SD card once you have decided what you want installed on your system. |
