Treating watts of like sugar. Home insulation subsidies could be better targeted pc world and the likes along with slight vat incentives and disincentives could be supported to offer a better low watt mini pc range. Electric heating could be better developed and targeted. More energy efficient products could have vat reductions. The home second hand product market could be improved. An iniative to improve what can be sourced locally in a carbon neutral way should have a label. Industry should be supported to upgrade well where and when it can as it climbs the challenging mountain to be green. Subsidising early adoption of the more obviously good upgrades and new standards should help improve role out. |
