With the right parallel and serial processing I'm sure ARM v9 will have quite a mighty and low watt laptop system for many manufacturers and the gaming potential might increase for a low powered console war. When you consider you only need to compute enough for the computer too infer the rest well and fast. 2 TFlops should be able to reproduce a very convincing scene as up scaling goes far beyond simple pixel up scaling to geometric up scaling, texture upscaling and many other optimization short cuts in the physics domain. |
