Blog Subject:  How Embarrassing
So the scene is set. I am standing on the train ready to get off as it is pulling into the station holding my rucksack steady on the floor in front of me. I look down to the floor and see a tampon there and think this is a little odd. Then I notice a lovely MAC eye pigment that looks like one I have. Oh, yeah, it is mine. Marvellous. What should I do as it is sitting on the floor next to the tampon which also appears to be mine. I look down at my rucksack and the pocket is unzipped - yup definitely both mine. A nice man sees it on the floor, next to the tampon, and picks it up and asks me if it is mine. If I say yes he will know the tampon is mine too so what do I do? I decide to deny all knowledge and make a swift exit saying goodbye to my 20 pound tub of beautiful gold MAC pigment. :(

Hmmm. Now I need a new pigment :(

Blog Subject:  Experimental Cooking For Mum
I am up at Mums for a few days - hopefully it will go well - fingers crossed.

Anyhow to try to ingratiate myself I am cooking dinner tonight and I am using something I have not before so hoepfully I wont poison her or anything...

I am using fruit from a spaghetti tree - apparently it is very similar to pasta but better for you so I thought I would try it. I am going to cook it with a veggie arrabiata sauce so that should be nice if it works out.

I will let you know how it goes - wish me luck lol

Blog Subject:  Pulsatile Knees
I have pulsatile knees. I am sitting here with my laptop balanced on my legs and I can feel my knees pulsing underneath it which is weird as i can barely feel my radial pulse so it is not like my blood pressure is high or anything - who knows what is causing this mystery of modern medicine.

So what else is new with me except knees of weirdness?

I had my gardener come today - having a gardener is a good and useful thing. Plus he is great and he is a friend which means we also gossip. Not sure how good it is to be paying a friend by the hour for a chat tho lol - tho he does get some gardening done too inbetween the chatting.

So now my garden is all neat and tidy. I am going to get some flowers to plant by my front door too - any suggestions welcome - preferbly something difficult to kill and colourful.

Anyhow so that is me.

Blog Subject:  The Love Machine
Oh my goodness.

I just put on the telly for ANTM and I know that is shallow enough but the TV program that is on atm is about picking someone just based on looks. So if you dont like their look then you ditch them. Then they get asked inane questions like how long should you wait before you text someone after a date. Then someone who had gone on one of these dates proudly announced that she would kiss anyone after a couple of drinks.

Have I just become boring and old fashioned but I have never come across anything so ridiculously shallow and stupid in all my life. To be blogging about it is also ridiculous but I just cant help myself.

Well I am off to grump some more now about the good old days when people valued each other by how much they liked Nirvana and whether they smoked pot or not.

Blog Subject:  Another Gig & Support Worker
I had another choir gig yesterday. Was fun but stressful for a couple of reasons. Firstly I had to do an extended solo which was fun but scary. We also performed two songs for the first time in public and it was OK excpet coming in late for one of them but we covered it up OK. Finally my GMC supervisor happened to be there which was a bit aarrrgggh making tho he was nice. He wants to join the choir - which will prob be fine but also seems a bit weird. I wonder how boundaries will work with that as we are a close bunch. Plus he will be seeing me in a different environment. Oh well, cross those bridges if and when I come to them.

I got mega stressed after as my support worker was coming at 1pm so there was trust transport booked for twenty to one - it showed up at ten past. Thankfully my support worker waited and I tidied my kitchen and sent off for a bus pass. Then managed to even mop my kitchen floor :mrgreen: I have discovered a cleaning product of joy - all surface cleaner with febreze in it - lovely.

So a productive day yesterday - today is shaping up to be lazier lol
