Now I hate snow as some of you know So why am I devoting blog space to it?

But I have to have a little rant.

We have up to 4-5 inches of snow fallen - hardly major snow drifts but yet the whole country appears to have come to a standstill. People were abandoning trains and walking along train tracks to get to their destination, roads have come to a halt with lorries parking up in the middle of the road and people abandoning their cars. We are being warned about the perils of being stuck in our cars and what to keep in our boots in case of emergency. We are being asked to look after "old people" in case they die - quite why this is only the case when it snows I am not so sure. Airports have been closed and flights cancelled. This country is really quite idiotic at times.

Having said that I am taking advantage of it in saying that I cannot possibly get to church "due to the weather" so I can go back to bed and have a snooze instead

Had a lovely lovely time in London seeing my Mum, my sister and being a tourist

I took Mum out for dinner on the Sunday night to a lovely Italian just down the road from the hotel. We were staying at a posh hotel just on Russell Square very near the British Museum.

We found a little cafe in the park to have coffee and breakfast every day - they were so friendly there which I was really surprised about as from living in London friendliness was not something I remembered hehehe.

On the Monday we walked down the National Gallery and wandered round. I really wanted to see the Da Vinci exhibition but it was sold out so we walked round everywhere else. I love the National Gallery and it was lovely to visit some old friends there as well as seeing some new stuff.

Went for yummy Chinese that night which was really really good.

Tuesday we met up with my sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so good to see her - really really good. We walked round Covent garden and got hats and gloves and spent even more money lol (I also took Mum there on Monday). Then we walked down to the Courthauld for some more art.

We had Champagne at lunch because my sister got the PhD offer - which is fantastic news Then walked around in the sleet back up to Covent Garden and then back to the hotel.

Wednesday was British Museum day - which is my favourite place in London - I could literally spend days there and camp in the foyer at night. I find it fascinating. I spent more money that I dont have getting us all a souvenir but it was worth it. Then walked down to the South Bank and along to a coffee shop in Borough Market past the Tate Modern.

Then tube back and more eating and drinking. Forgot to say I took Mum for cocktails too lol. And went to Buck Palace walking down the Mall and back through the park.

Well I have missed out loads but it was a lovely holiday and I had such a good time. It was wonderful to see my sister and Mum was in good form for the most part. I took a zillion photos.

I am off to be a culture vulture in Londinium.

And even better I am going to see my SISTER

She is over in the UK for a PhD interview and I am seeing her on Tuesday and Wednesday. So I will miss you all very much but I am super excited to be seeing her.

So until i get back be good, look after yourselves, take as good a care of yourselves as you do of others, have some fun, be nice to each other, no posting dodgy links and other various useful pieces of advice.

Well at least it is over for now...

I am apparently quite high. My happy pills are going to be decreased and they are going to fiddle with my mood stabilisers to to try and help.

I had the same circular convos about therapy, PD services and return to work - le sigh.

I also was grilled by them about what psychforums is so I told them
