Blog Subject:  Breaking Wineglasses
Is what I hope NOT to do when I go for my recording session later...

Am looking forward to it, hanging out with fellow musicians and making some tunes. Tho no pot and beer, we are in a studio - not that that seems to stop many :wink:

Warning boring bit of minutiae about my life coming up. Woke early with my crown on my tooth hurting like hell. I think I have been grinding my teeth, which, given yesterday's events is prob not surprising I guess. Painkillers thus far are not working. Hmmm.

Speaking to my therapist today. Am looking forward to it but also worried she will be pissed that I did this without talking to her, or more likely "why did you feel you had to do that without us discussing it?". Stop it Cracked, I am being mean and she is fab and I am sure she will be supportive.

Since I woke early I have been watching reruns of ANTM, one of my guilty pleasures - well you have to have some. A worse one I have is smoking, I must quit... I am not sure now is the right time, tho when is. The crazy thing is I can go fine for days without then I am back to 20 a day. Stupid Cracked.

Sooooooooooo I hope you all have good days/nights/whatever the hell time zone you are in atm.

What is it that you think that your therapist will say that you should have discussed before doing?

About contacting the mission society about my past to find things out and getting a reply where ppl who used to work there when we did are going to contact me. See Oh My Goodness blog. Spoke to her today, she was OK about it tho did not think I should be exploring it in too much detail atm and did not think I should bring up anything to do with the abuse, which is hard as I want to, but she thinks it would be a bad idea and I may get answers I could not deal with.

Recording was brill. Did the guitar and vocals then got some cello on there too. It sounds good just needs a little mixing for levels etc. I dont think I want any reverb (although it does hide a multitude of sins).

I can see why you'd want to bring the abuse up... I would want to ask too if I was in that position. You could always ask them to write down the answers for you to read when you feel ready. I'd imagine the people are old? If that was the case I think I wouldn't want to risk losing the opportunity to know what happened. I suppose you will just have to do what you feel is right for yourself.

Thanks Lipstick. I think they are about my mum's age. I need to know but i need to do it in the right way, I like your idea about them writing it down, tho knowing me i would prob read it straight away. Thank you for your support and yeah the recording went well, thanks.
