What does stable feel like to you? Could you put a few words to it?

I'm neither overly energetic nor depressed for no reason. I don't have racing thoughts, nor do I have a cynical view of everything I think about or come in contact with. It's peaceful.

Thanks, Holodeck. Does it feel similarly for you, Knox?

Yes. Although i don't find it peaceful. I think i always have an underlying need for stimulation that eats away at quiet moments especially. I think the only time i'm at peace is when i'm getting my dopamine.

Yes, I definitely understand why you aren't allowed Adderall. I'd like to say my situation isn't as bad, but my boyfriend has been out of work since November and that keeps me on a short leash. I started taking mood stabilizers around that time. Knowing I can't get away with much plus being on the Lamictal does seem to keep me ok. It wouldn't be a strong twist of my arm to get me to do something stupid that would lead to mania while stable though. Once a mania addict always a mania addict. Thankfully I have no offline friends to tempt me. I do enough when alone as is.

On topic: Still stable.

Thankfully i take my medication, because i am more fearful of a great depression than i am of mania. Mania for me doesn't come as often as depression, and when it comes it's often mixed. So although i love mania and chase it by staying up all night when i can and bingeing coffee like an addict, it often just isn't worth the mixed symptoms and following depression.

Although if i could induce euphoric hypomania, all the time, i would. I think that's what my doctor is going for in taking me off lithium and keeping me only on vraylar.

My mood: Still stable, but a bit low from a marijuana hangover, which i get on meds.

@Knoxious Damn sounds like we have the exact same type of bipolar. Yeah, mine is mainly hypo which turns very quickly to mixed. Mixed isn't worth at all but if I'm not on meds...still not worth but I do it anyway.

OT: Stable is nice.

Lotta bad thoughts and compulsive need to make lists and organize. I hate mixed days. Hopefully, it doesn't get worse.
