Perhaps it means if you don't make it to the bathroom then blowing wind is better than pooping yourself.

Or perhaps it means that if you don't have a goal then you give up your destiny to the wind. (You are giving up even the little bit of control that we do have)
It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"

Right. Have no issue blowing wind, whatever the company or ambiance

Interesting also read recently that some people tried just what you mention; just let life come and go with it. Not sure for me though, little risky perhaps Im not there yet who knows if Ill ever be or want to be..

One of my favourite authors too:

When I want to vomit I think of this saying.
"Everything happens for a reason."

And then I vomit and realize that much as I dislike the saying, it is at least partially true.
I vomited because I thought of that saying.

It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"
