Finding Your Higher Purpose

Postby Wee » Sat Aug 11, 2018 9:17 pm

What do you need/want in life? What is your deepest desire?

What I desire most in life is a deeper connection to the Divine and others. Here are some things I’m currently working on, as I continue my journey to find my higher purpose:

~ I want to continue to nurture my relationships.
~ I would love to support people struggling with a duel diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse.
~ I want to be there for those hurting from loneliness.
~ I would like to paint more. I love feeling creative and it’s therapeutic.
~ I want to be more serious about exploring spirituality and meditate on a regular basis.
~ I want to take Flax Seeds and Turmeric with coconut oil weekly.
~ I want to better regulate my sugar and caffeine intake.
~ I want good sleep hygiene.

What is your higher purpose?

Im just struggling with a real genuine person who doesn't emotionally hurt others.

I guess I'd like to find meaning in all my relationships and value them completely while connecting with a higher wisdom that would hopefully keep me in line.

Mostly hedonist: do what makes me happy.
Part altruist: help others.
Part nihilist: nothing really matters so enjoy life and help others.
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.
