Anybody want to try giving advice to an APD member?

Postby Iwantfearaway1 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 4:22 am

I wonder if I explored reasons why I think APD began in my timeline that it might help me understand and overcome this disorder? Is anyone willing to try this with me? We could give honest advice to one another and understand how to cope with APD better based on facts of our life experiences. The symptoms all really began in 7th grade. Although the reason I believe started long before then.

Me too! When do you think it started for you? Btw, I apologise for the months delay in a reply but I did not get a notice. I have never personally communicated wth some one w/APD.

hard to say, it might help you make improvements

AVPD is likely caused by biological, genetic , environmental and social factors. So it may be more complicated than a specific event

I know it is, but I came from a big family and I am mostly affected. I haven't told my famly anything about my disorder because they are all so perfect. I don't think they would understand. I would like to know how to get better. I want free from this weird disorder. I'm not this person that I appear to be to others. There has to be some way to break out of this.

I was bullied in second grade very badly. I still have reocurring thoughts of it. The fear of those 2 bullies is still with me today. The embarrassment I can still feel today too.
