Walking down the street

I'm curious - What are your mannerisms while walking down the street? Do you find yourself staring at people? Looking at the ground? Looking straight ahead like a soldier?

Thank you for your replies.

Usually I look straight down the road, staring at a building or a street sign. That's when I see people walking on the sidewalk cause I hate looking at people or even the backs of them. If nobody's around, I look around more. But if I'm a bit down, I usually look at the ground in front of me.

I live in a busy city so I don't like being outside on the streets a lot because of all the noise here.
