Extreme distress and anxiety making me bite myself

Postby InkShards » Thu Jun 30, 2016 9:12 pm

I have high functioning autism and since I have entered adulthood new stress and triggers has caused me to be scared and anxious a lot and because my mind likes to obsesse over things I end up stuck in the cycle of what's causing my fear to the point that I get extremely distressed and I will bite myself ( usually my upper arm and sometimes hand) to the point of deep bruising and bleeding. My anxiety used to be so bad that I was unable to eat and I wold lay in bed and become depressed. They have put me on all kinds of medication but it seems to be stunting my emotional growth. And sometimes my depression would get so bad that I would fantasize about hurting animals and I don't like it. It's hard to explain my feeling. I took a little bit of clonopin to try and help me calm down.
