medicine side effects

Do you think those of us on the spectrum are more likely to have side effects than those not on the spectrum?

Not sure.. i know that meds usually affect us more strongly than they do other people..
this is only anecdotal rather than proven by science.. but a large amount of people on the spectrum have said that they're really sensitive to many meds (anti-depressants etc) and need a lower dose than normal.

I'm interested in your reason for asking.. have you noticed that you tend to have side effects with meds and others don't seem to?

I suppose it's possible that where people on the spectrum tend to be more introverted and focused on their inner world, side effects would be noticed more than they would be when experienced by someone who is more extroverted.. more focused on the external world..
Just a thought.. was just mulling over the fact that when i'm on my own, i notice physical pain more than when i'm with other people and chatting with them.. :?
Shine me a light up
and i'll run round the moon..

Well autistic brains are not symmetrical, so maybe it's true.
