It's definitely autism (no dx yet)

Bilirubin poisoning causes autism in neonatals. I was born 7 weeks premature.

It's bizarre, but this feels like an exculpation. Stupid, I know.

And I'm so mad at my parents for not noticing anything was wrong...

Complaints, complaints. I'm sure most people here had it far worse, right?

I'm still furious. Who am I mad at?

I'm not caught up on modern causes but what I can say is this: it isn't your fault so don't hate or blame yourself for it. Accept it, as well as yourself, and try to find what you're good at and go with it. Just because I've had issues in that area doesn't mean you have to. No sense placing blame in anyone; your parents, yourself, other family or friends... it is what it is. Dwelling on our shortcomings is not good, trust me. I know.

... Now if only I could take my own advice. Lol.
