Well, are you going to share the secret?

Well, I thought that if you open the box from the bottom it worked but it seems I was wrong.

Never mind.

I know from first hand experience that sleeping rough is no walk in the park but the deux secondes tente has to be a boon for the modern homeless person.

I would think it probably does have it's pitfalls though but it might at least keep the draft off a bit.

It's weird when you think about someone you've not seen in ages and then, hay presto! They appear as if by magic.

So this morning I was doing my usual routine. Eating my porridge and watching the news and suddenly I thought to myself that I've not seen the one armed weather woman for a while.

Anyway I got in from work tonight and put the news on and there she was as large as life doing the weather forecast, without a care in the world as if she'd never been away.

To be honest I actually thought the BBC had got rid of her because she's not aesthetically pleasing.

Have you looked into telepathy? If nothing else, it's an interesting idea.

It's only significant when it lines up. People forget all the times nothing happens because those are insignificant.

My trouble is is that I have a memory for insignificant things. I always have had.

It might come in to handy one day.

Agreed. It's about confirmation bias; we see what we are expecting to see.

It's why people who have recently experienced a loss seem to think that everything on TV is all about death, or we buy a new car and we suddenly see them everywhere.

That said, there are more reasons why coincidences occur, and not all of them are easily understood or explained.

It doesn't make them "mystical" but it does show that we perceive the world around us in ways that we don't really understand.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.
