Narcissism.. Excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance.. What's wrong with that?

Looking good isn't a diagnostic criteria for anything.

You forgot just a few.

- Fail to recognize that their perceptions and behaviors are socially inappropriate and problematic, because of their very positive self-image (inflated self-concept)
- Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from other people
- Continually demeaning, bullying and belittling others
- Exploiting others to achieve personal gain
- Controlling others
- Lack of empathy for the negative impact they have on the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people
- Fixation on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
- Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions
- Need for continual admiration from others
- Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
- Intense envy of others, and the belief that others are equally envious of them
- Seeking revenge

Selfishness, involving a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration, as characterizing a personality type.

Because they're against my moral and my values and against everything I believe in.

That's your problem.. I'm wondering how it could be a problem for the narcissist..

Professionals say it's an illness, so they're saying it's an issue, but what makes it an issue? What problems do these things cause? Enlighten me to your inner world.

^ Isn't that point of view narcissistic?

In reality, we're all entitled to things.. For example, I can't be refused medical treatment because I'm a Canadian citizen.. And so if I am refused it, I can sue.

So, is this criteria for narcissism in reference to a false sense of entitlement? That's the only thing that makes sense to me..

Omg, being principled and having values is narcissistic? No it's definitely not.
I've never experienced any of the things listed. I'm not faced with such issues with anyone.
Everyone has a basic right to disagree with you about anything and hold on to that opinion. That's not narcissistic.

Do you know what kind of speech my previous boss gave at my farewell party.
He said I'm the kindest person he knows, he wishes he had what I have.
There was a person there who picked on me, for a few years. Until I left. I never responded to her.
My boss probably knew this and that's why he said what he said. I was and am blushing.
I worked there for over ten years.

I argue with many of you because I fundamentally disagree with you. I'm an introvert, it's easier to type things down than actually have a proper conversation with someone irl.
