Psychopathy and grilled cheese

Postby ZeroZ » Sun Nov 03, 2019 12:10 am

Ok, well I’m just making grilled cheese but we are having a great discussion on Reapers discord server, anyone who wants an invite let me know or Reaper. Anyway, we are posting lots of case studies from Cleckley and the Mask of Sanity which does a fantastic job of really giving depth and texture to the disorder. I posted a story roughly translated from Cleckley about a female psychopath. Doobie provided some great links and more recent case studies and possible differences between female and male psychopaths.

One thing jumps out off the page is the irrational decision making, some of it just defies any sort of logic whatsoever. For example one young man who kept stealing cars getting caught, he would just take the cars for a ride sometimes even leave them near where he took them, his father bought him a nice car thinking this was the answer but after a few weeks he ditched the car on the side of the road leaving it wide open and stole another car, that was major downgrade from the car he owned. Makes no sense right?

There are several other examples and most of them have this element to it, I’m thinking this is either impulsive or disinhibition. I found the discussion interesting and wanted to share it with the psychos proper

I think the association is very strong. Grilled cheese is the hit and run of cooking, you just slap some cheese between two pieces of bread and bam.

I have this problem where I just read the title of things. Did the same thing with the Bible. Also didn't know Reaper had some server without inviting me, I'm truly wounded.

Well, she’s a psychopath what do we expect? In all fairness grilled cheese was by far the most interesting part of the post

I love a bit of cheese on toast me. Especially when it's got Daddies sauce dribbled on it.

That's disgusting.
It is the mark of an..curious mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
