If I was honest...

This is what I would say to people...

"I don't know if trusting me would be in your best interest, but if I'm going by past experiences then it's not. I won't screw you over immediately, but when I start to dislike people and their behaviour, that's usually when it happens... Other times, I do it on a whim simply because I want something. I might feel bad briefly, but I probably won't be honest and admit to what I did because then I might lose you as a friend and having you as a friend would be more beneficial."

What would you say if you were being honest to people about yourself?

If I was just meeting someone, maybe I would say something like this...

"Hey, do you like to party and have a good time? If not then I probably won't talk to you much, unless I need something from you."

No, no, wouldn't say that.
Case by case.

I'm just describing how it usually works for me. :P

Is there a usual way it works for you?

So do you have genuine bonds with people? As in, you like to see them regularly (or sporadically even), you enjoy sharing stories and emotions, etc.?

Define "genuine" vs any other "bond?"

You worry about yourself.
I'm just fine :D

I gave you examples. :P

I'm using the language I've learned to associate with what love and care mean, as well as genuineness...

If you love and care for someone, it means you want the best for them (even if you're selfish sometimes, you regret it), seeing them smile creates a feeling of tenderness in you, it's tough when they're not around for long periods, etc. All of those things are genuine in that they're real and aren't a ploy.

--------------------

Had to restructure my post for what I think is a better chance of clarity. Hopefully it's achieved.

 you've spent way too much time bsing yourself, haven't you?
Take note: Never believe your own bs. When selling bs, don't be obvious about it.
