Too much boasting, with music as well as with people in general.

sneak peek at how composers can use AIVA's Music Engine in their workflows, and supercharge their creativity.
In this video, Brad Frey runs you through the use of the "Search influence" feature of our Music Engine to create an original piece of music influence by the style of Chopin.

You can listen to the full track here: https://youtu.be/f-lOcUHTdxI

Find out more at https://www.aiva.ai/

See what you guys and gals come up with?
Would make for an interesting thread, no?

Don't even need to know how to read music, or play any musical instrument.

That is pretty cool. Interesting new toy to play with.

Reminds me of when Google's deep dream generator came out.

No. It's damn fine. Better than some and worse than others.
And, it makes it much easier for others that want to create something original to accompany their works.

Daddy's Car: a song composed by Artificial Intelligence - in the style of the Beatles
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSHZ_b0 ... EA&index=5

Scientists at SONY CSL Research Lab have created the first-ever entire songs composed by Artificial Intelligence: "Daddy's Car" and "Mister Shadow".

The researchers have developed FlowMachines, a system that learns music styles from a huge database of songs. Exploiting unique combinations of style transfer, optimization and interaction techniques, FlowMachines composes novel songs in many styles.

"Daddy's Car" is composed in the style of The Beatles. French composer Benoît Carré arranged and produced the songs, and wrote the lyrics.

The two songs are excerpts of albums composed by Artificial Intelligence to be released in 2017.

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Research Council under the European Union's Seventy Framework Programme (EP7/2007-2013 Grant Agreement no.291156).

The research leading to these results has been conducted by Sony Computer Science Laboratories Paris (Sony CSL Paris) and Pierre and Marie Curie University (UPMC), under the leadership of François Pachet.

and I guess all we will have to do is press on the microchip in our arms to play it.
The world is becoming more horrendous by the day.

I thought with your poetic analogies of flying frozen pigs, explosive squirting ducks, flies in the ointment, burning chicken feathers, you would like something more real.

I am soooo disappointed in you.

Nice. Saucy often rips out raps that are really good. Why not put it to music?

 Poetic? Or colorful? Aye, well, I think of the opportunity that is opened up to those that are not so fortunate to have parents that can afford music lessons. And those rare ones with glorious voices that can now create from their desk top.
