Have you ever genuinely cried?

Not out of physical pain or for manipulation purposes.

It had to have been for genuine reasons. Why did it happen? How intense was the emotion? And how did you feel afterwards?
We live in a primitive time, neither savage nor wise. Half measures are the curse of it. Any rational society would either kill me or put me to some use.

Before the age of 10, yes, when I felt things were unfair. After that age I cannot think of any instance.

Yes. I might genuinely cry when I'm feeling sad for myself, which is not very often, and on the odd occasion a movie can make me genuinely cry.

For example: The last movie I cried in was Red Dog when the dog died at the end. It didn't last long though. I get over things really quickly.
Sometimes I wish I could set the world on fire just to watch it all burn down.

I'm suprised that it's the same for me: I only cry when I'm sad for myself OR when I watch a sad movie.

I cry whenever I sit through all of "Dancer in the Dark". Big heaving sobs. Try it. Test your cold, black little hearts.

I got teary eyed a couple of years ago when I heard that a friend I hadn't talked to in years had died. He was a real good guy, but he was annoying, and I was kind of cruel in blowing him off, but I figured I'd run into him some day again, so the death thing was a shock. I didn't cry, just got all shiny eyed. I wasn't alone when I found out, which might be why. I don't know if I would have cried if I had been alone.

I cry during bad depressive periods, which I haven't had for at least five years, but thats kind of like pissing down your leg in the shower.
