No thanks.

Why?

Read the last three pages.

Those have nothing to do with each other and yes, read the last 3 pages, people like that ruin what's good about having discussions with their bs, so their behaviour would be corrected in real time and they don't get the chance to go on a full rant. Your point doesn't make sense

I don't think you personally would enjoy discord so much but in voice chat people can actually be way more interesting to listen to because some people who post are just terrible writers, not boring people

The only thing this has to do with discord is that, vcr assumes because me and others are in the same group as the person he has an issue with that we are all just sitting around talking about him, which isn’t the case.

Reaps: fun
We live in a primitive time, neither savage nor wise. Half measures are the curse of it. Any rational society would either kill me or put me to some use.

Right.

I don't have an interest in socialising here. I write well and have no problem expressing myself in writing, so I have no need for this.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

I like listening to people talk about similar stuff to what they would here. My perception changes when I hear it. I'm more likely to get my point across as I want to as well. I'm articulate but written conversation isn't natural to me. Ideally, we'd be able to see each other. Hearing what they think is a fair compromise. There's so much to what I say in gesture and tone that I hadn't realised before. I suspect most people don't 'get' it because I can't portray it in text well enough

In text, I tend to write thoughts in a bubble and talk at people rather than with them

Good point. It's easier to twist and manipulate what is written than what is said.
