Different manipulation techniques, perhaps? As in males being more partial to threats, opposed to females resorting to seduction more often.

It’s a bit out of vogue at the moment, but one of the strands of research into BPD regards BPD and AsPD as the female and male forms of the same disorder.

Curiously the most common PD comorbidity of AsPD is with NPD in men and HPD in women.

Maybe in the way violence is expressed. I also read research about female prisoners with Psychophaty which claimed the subjects were not characterized by grandiose self-image.

But I think those with shallow affect lack the required affect to be combroid with BPD or HPD. How could they?

This is an interesting read.

I have no grandiose self-image and yet am male. How about that?

IIRC you’re diagnosed with an ASD and have just finished high school.

That would mean that antisocial personality disorder is unlikely to have been officially diagnosed and if it was it would be a secondary condition.

Equally everyone has some narcissism, it’s one of those traits where too little is as pathological as too much.

Yeah, it seems you have nothing to be grandiose about.

Pretty amazing how there still isn't an answer to this question? Are researchers not curious?
I know I am now because all I got was:

- there's limited research on ASPD in females
- it's unclear how gender-biased ASPD tests and the people who take them are
- females are less likely to be diagnosed with CD in childhood
- female psychopaths score higher on factor 2 than males, who score higher on factor 1
