Hi I'm new

I'm new here so hi.

I thought I should find someone to talk to about the feelings of absolute hate I feel for the entire human race.

I hate every man woman and child on the planet and wish the earth would just explode and kill everyone including me.

I trust nobody. I have no friends. I havn't left my house for more than an hour for over 14 years. As soon as I see ...

sorry i posted this on the bipolar board too, but i wanted to double check by posting here.

if someone who is bipolar takes anti-depressants only, does it just take their depression away or is it more complex than that? what might anti-depressants alone do for someone who is rapid cycle bipolar 2? any insight?

So confused...just diagnoised

Up until June 14th, not one of my friends or family would have said that I had a mental illness.

On Mar 7th I got the mother of all migraines. It would not leave. I ended up having to go on medical sick leave. I was so drained I could not take care of myself. I flew down to Houston and put myself under my sister's care. She is an amazing sister and really came ...

I just want to shake that guy's hand

Since time immemorial, there have been people who claim to hear voices in their head. In the past, these were most often attributed as messages from a spiritual realm, from demons or demigods, holy or otherwise. But now we are enlightened, and psychiatry has found that those voices are actually machinations of the subject's own head. It is now known that there is no spirit realm, and no spirits... the voices are not to be ...

Normal Brain

After viewing my MRI results, my doctor today informed me that my brain is normal. I have had problems with depression, mood swings, hallucinations, and delusions. If my brain is normal, does that mean I may recover to the point of not needing to take medication? Do all schichophrenics have abnormalities of the brain?

I told him about the mood swings, but he didn't seem to pay much attention. I wish I didn't have to ...

getting nowhere

First of all, I'm not even sure I 'have' any disorder... but I've always been sort of 'apart' from the conventional/mainstream mentality. Never really fit in with any group. And seldom minded this - except when I was young and had terrible trouble getting to know the opposite sex, which I wanted so bad but whenever the chance came along I had no idea what to do.
Then about a month and a half ago, ...

mood swings

I feel more level today; my medication (Seroquel) seems to help me stay level part of the time, but not always. I've been depressed the last few days, severely on some days; other times I swing into a high...thoughts going fast...thinking in blocks of information.

I'm having problems with mood swings now, but not hallucinations and delusions, although I've had problems with psychosis before. I just don't know what to do about it. I feel ...
