No one believes I have stopped pulling... :/

Well, its been a week now and haven't pulled not ONCE. My mom is happy, and i think she may be the only one who believe because shes been encouraging me. But for example, tonight my step dad picked up some hair and showed it to me, it upset me because they must have not vacuumed this past week and that was left from the last time i pulled. It just irratates me because for the past 5 years ive just pulled with the intention of never stopping and finally i got tired of it and quit cold turkey, and now ive noticed a difference in my hair, ive learned to love it and take better care of it.. But now i just feel like its all of a sudden being thrown in my face over and over again Not really expecting anyone to reply... just venting.. Thats all.

You need to let these morons know exactly that their comments are not helping you. Perhaps you could ask your mother to pass this message on. I remember it taking a long time for my mother to finally realisde that it only makes me feel worse when she talks to me about my problems, but it was my dad who made her realise this. Just make sure that your frustrations are heard. Speak in a calm way though, and don't raise your voice. Just say that 'It isn't helping me when you comment to me about hair'. Make the statement personal using words like 'I' and 'me'.
