Things people ask of you

Postby meatwagon22 » Sat Aug 04, 2012 4:50 am

So yeah simple question. What have people requested of you do something(strangers)? Also, if not, how do you present yourself to make people avoid you?

I guess i could be classified as a secret schizoid: i can actually show good social skills and can manage social activities, but i keep it at a minimum: i just talk and do the strict necessary in order to appear somehow "normal" and not get bothered. It doesn't take much effort and i can still be alone most of the time.

Also, if people ask me "Why are you always busy?", i just tell them that i have to study/work, even tho i'm very fast at those activities and end them very quickly. Considering my outstanding results, there are even people who think i study the whole day, when 80% of the day i just ###$ around (20% comprehends sleeping and eating/shitting) and just study 5 days before the exam.

The problem is that people:
1) Do not understand the concept of different
2) Can't mind their business and behave themselves
3) Do not understand that they are annoying, silly, bothersome....
So i just wear a social mask that works quite well. As i stated before, i often studied and analyzed people's reactions, so i kinda know what they want to hear (and so far, i've always been right).

I don't do the social mask thing anymore. It becomes boring, and leaves my physically drained. Although things like the one stated above annoy me, I can still have a more or less upbeat feeling. Also I get to throw free punches :) . No one has the guts to get back at me yet.

I know that feel bro. I'd punch them, but they were girls and I didn't want to be kicked out of my house like you.

Nothing. I never talk to strangers. I talk just enough so people shut up about me not talking. Usually I just think of something mildly witty and they eat it up.

In college I got told that I looked intimidating and that people thought I was arrogant because I would decide to do my work instead of talking to them, so they avoided me. Good times.

Best way to avoid someone you don't want to talk to is wear some earphones and make it obvious you have them in or if you are about to pass someone you don't want to talk to just pretend to be doing something really interesting on your phone and don't look up so they just end up walking right past you.

Other things I've done to avoid people are pretended i'm not well and need to go home straight away, pretended to use a vending machine, pretended to be on the phone, pretended to catch the bus, pretended to watch a film and then had to watch it, pretended to go to doctors/dentist, pretended i'm on holiday or at someones house. Theres more but thats all I can remember now. Everyone thinks i'm ill a lot of the time but I don't think I've even had a cold for about 2 years and as you probably realised my attendance at school was below the average.

Get older. Works every time. Once I passed 30 the majority of the crap stopped.

Stranger: 'Can you help me with some blah blah blah'
Me: "No."
Stranger: *More bullsh1t*
Me: 'I don't care.'
Sometimes they might say a 'hurtful' comment about me, but you know i am very sensitive, i cry late at night.

My mom says I look intimidating and unapproachable. A combination of my posture, an expressionless face, and wearing all black, I think. I can't tell you exactly why/ how I do it but I'm glad I can. I should make a video on youtube about it. How to pull off the perfect schizoid look.
