you guys are missing the point - this topic isn't about "what women you find attractive" - cause that's nobody's ideal GF... :D - physical appearance is never enough...

Yes, this is a big issue for me. I can't look people in the eyes

Same here, although I never really noticed it until my psychologist pointed it out to me. He said it's particularly pronounced when I have to talk about myself, which is interesting.

I disagree. I'd guess that there are some people who genuinely don't care much for personality in a potential partner.

Those don't look for a partner/gf - "they look for a trophy"... was talking about mature people not kids and their toys...

Why would I want to date someone? Dating is so...I just don't understand it. It is a whole mess of social constructs, so many rules and guidelines. How could I ever operate under such things? Me dating is equivalent to an animal dating. A dog cannot operate under social constructs of the human, its incomprehensible to it. Perhaps it can fake it for a while, but that is all and it is all I can do too.

I can prove my point - Can u prove yours?

Would have made more sense if this topic had a subject like: "How do you define the term Girlfriend?". :)

You can't prove arbitrary moral judgements.

Apart from that it's also difficult to argue that a sexual partner can't be considered as some kind of trophy that defines one's social status; at least to a certain degree.

...arbitrary moral judgements?! - sure, why not:

http://thechive.com/2012/03/15/man-is-e ... tos-video/

...if only looks matter - "a doll can be as good as any girlfriend" - right? :) Maybe a robotized Japanese version would be even better... :D Who can argue with that - since they have more Pros than Cons...

It's really ironic that - you keep using "morality" in such context... cause if we're to talk about a "subjective morality" then - "everything goes..." even an animal (like a sheep) could pass as a girlfriend... or let's be more modern about it "a laptop" - it does cover the sexual needs for many people... so - why not? :) ...wile rich individual afford "to buy" real versions (real females)" - "the models"... they do fit the description "of a product" and most of them - kinda act like one... :)

...and you were saying: "I-shove-my-absurd-morality-down-your-throat-human"... probably talking from experience.
