Haha, I read that as "What creepy advice would you give your younger self?" I don't know if there are any overarching life lessons to be learned and if there are apparently I haven't learned them, so I'd probably just give myself employment advice.

I'd tell myself that my thoughts were becoming illogical and weird - hopefully I'd believe myself.

1. Don't start smoking cigarettes.

2. Emancipate yourself from your family. They do not have your best interest at heart.

3. Don't bother watching "Dexter"

Choose the thing that you want instead of the things people want for you.

People will give you crappy advice all the time, because they don;t care as much as they pretend to.

i would say: im sorry for you, that you have to go through, all these stages in life, before you realize that you are acting out your trauma.
Then my advice would be; don't hate yourself, when you get through it.

You won't grow up but you'll learn from every experience and don't worry, you'll eventually pull through #######5 times.

Well I didn't know about SPD when I was younger, so my advice would be to get in touch with yourself more in order to find out more about SPD. Study it and make it your passion since you don't tend to be too passionate about any one thing.

Anyway, this would've have saved me from a lot of awkward moments, confusion and despair in my younger years as I tried to figure out why I had such a hard time in fitting in with society.

Also, I would say to stay in your own World more. Keep that active inner World of your own since the outer World has never offered you much but disappointment. It can be tempting to think that an outer World has much to offer....it offers much to a non-Schizoid. However, remember, you ARE an EXCEPTION since you are a Schizoid.
Your one and only resident Schizoid (in most places).

Whatever it takes to get me a computer sooner, my own internet connection, and some basic programming knowledge. Basically, the keys to the castle to get out of that life.

Reporting people you suspect of doing things to underage kids to the missingkids website actually works. The sooner the better.

Never start drinking. Hasn't done either of us any good.

Yeah, your family are all idiots. You were right.

I was not diagnosed as SPD until my late 50s and although I am a well-adjusted, covert schizoid it would have helped me immensely to have understood my nature as a young man, even as a teen or boy. I would have said:

"Stop trying so hard to fit it, to be what is not your nature. You are not a people-person, so stop buying into the lie that you need to be one or you will never be happy. For most people being alone is a weakness they cannot endure but for you it is a strength--embrace it and nurture it because it is your super power but kryptonite to most others. Understand your shortcomings but don't allow others to label them as character flaws. To be unambitious is not a sin, but ultimately you will do well to find a job or career where you can work alone as much as possible because you are water and people are oil--you don't mix well. Accept yourself for who you are and learn to be content. Roll with the punches for this too shall pass."
