Attraction and idealization

@Onivas still you'd have to somehow get passed expressing yourself to build the "coming off as cool" aspect.

I played keyboard and guitar for fun before SPD, and very rarely have fleeting desire to play again. When I used to play all the time I've always hated people listening to me, but did it for my own pleasure (and had the motivation to do it). Now I suppose I'd describe the idea of doing it again as "just one more thing", almost like a chore. It doesn't help that I had to leave my instruments in my previous state when moving (would have to go out and shop for new ones). Pretty much every hobby of mine has turned into this for me.
