Do you like animals?

sounds like a 10 years old question lol.

well, schizoids are cold with people but are you cold too with animals? i am very kind with my cat, he is like a friend for me lol

i have a cat too.
he is an emotional assistance animal and great at his job.
the other day i noticed that he has started burrowing under the bed covers to take naps in the daytime.
lol, all you see is a tail sticking out that wags when you talk to him.
if someone hurt or mistreated my cat, i would become highly volatile.
he is mainly a spoiled inside cat that loves the window (he lets out little pathetic whimpers when he sees birds getting close by and continues until they leave.
during the summer i take him out in his carrier to an outside seating area and then put him on a leash.
he is ok with dogs but he gets furious when he sees another cat.
has anyone seen that recent video of a cat tackling a dog that bit a child?

my cat sleeps curled up under my arm for a while every night when i go to bed.
and yes i sound like a moron when i am talking to him.

I definitely love my three cats, but in the case of each cat it took me a few years until I felt attached to them in a completely unreserved way. For instance when my second cat was a kitten, I sometimes had moments when the cat didn't feel like mine, didn't feel like it belonged there and that life had been somehow emotionally easier with only one cat .
Of course I had taken the responsibility on myself and didn't for a minute think of giving the cat away, but it was... weird and ridiculous. If it's such an ordeal to emotionally attach to a freaking cat, I don't even want to know about future human connections.

I like animals. I don't think I am capable of forming attachments to them either though.
I find understanding their needs to be simpler, and appreciate that their needs are often less 'complex' or frustrating for me than human animals.

I think this is an excellent question.Im not exactly sure what PD I have,but I know I have something (: But anyways I adore my pets..I would get very volatile too if someone tried to harm them..I find my attatchments to them quite deep and meaningful,infact much more meaninful then with humans.Infact I adore all animals so much I am strict vegan.

I've often thought about getting a dog as a pet, but to be honest, I couldn't be bothered looking after it. Walking it, feeding it, worming, grooming etc..etc..I'm very lazy.

I get along better with animals than I do with people. My favorites are dogs, cats, guinea pigs and reptiles. The only animal I dislike are monkeys because they are more closely related to us.

Well, I saved a cat 5 months ago who was scared and feral, now while I'm typing this, she's purring in my lap.

I must be doing something good.

I love animals, all of them. I like the fact that they are very straightforward and practical, not complicated like people. You know they will attack if they feel threatened (or, occasionally, hungry), otherwise they are nice to you or they leave you alone.
