Looking for Adults Who Displayed RAD Symptoms

Postby BillBell » Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:00 pm

Hello, everyone!

A few days ago I met an adult on an online chat system who told me that she displayed RAD symptoms when she was a child. I was actually expecting to chat about a topic in software engineering also known as RAD. In any case this individual said that she wants to be in contact with other RAD adults to compare notes and I said that I would see if I could find some.

Does anyone here know of places where adults who were diagnosed with RAD can meet safely? Or any means of meeting this person's request?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry,I don't actually know of any other websites or such for adults with RAD. I noticed this thread the day you posted it, but held off replying in the hope that someone else would. A good thorough search using Google or another search engine should give you good results?

Thanks for responding, Kevin. I gave that a try before I posted here without much in the way of results. It's beginning to appear that I will have to try again. Thanks again.

No problem, Bill. I guess sources fior adults who suffered will be limited by the fact that it's firmly regarded as a childhood disorder, and therefore all docus will be on helping children who currently suffer from it. I even had a brief look myself just now for resources on what you want, but failed. I did find another post on a different website that might be off use ultimately to yo, however: http://www.dailystrength.org/groups/ado ... es/7672784

Kevin, that is wonderful! I imagine that is the very kind of thing that my acquaintance could be looking for. I will pass it on as soon as I possibly can. Thank you very much indeed. - Bill

What's up Bexster? im always around, but I'm not too informed when it comes to RAD (despite having shown signs of it when I was younger; and even now as an adult).
