Hello, guys and girls, my name is Alex and Im also having some ptsd symptoms left because of bullying at school. I am being very influenced by some word or imagine of it or when i see something that related to that "word". I acquired immunity to that word using my own method and i want to share it with you and i hope it will help you to deal with ptsd. First of all i want to say that i didnt use any drug or ecstasy method with psychologist, its much more easier.
I know that feeling when you see something or hear something that gives you pain and it switches your brain to "fight or run" condition. I repeat, i dont know if it will help you, but i think that if that helped me, so why it cant help you? Ok, first, you need to get a good camera on phone and dictaphone, why? Because it will train you to deal with moments that cause you suffering from ptsd. I advise you to start this brain training as soon as possible, and even after first train you will get very good results. It took me about 3 weeks or maybe even less to have complete control over it.
Ok, lets start. First of all as i said (its very important) get a camera and a dictaphone. Record yourself on camera and your voice too saying anything you want (etc Im doing traing and I want to see how am i going to be changed after PTSD attack). After it search for the "trigger" image, sound, etc. that annoys you. NOW start to think WHAT do you FEEL and record it on a dictaphone, you can use a camera to see what is happening with you outside at these moments, that will be good.
Think about WHAT you FEEL (being confused, "drunk" head feeling, feeling restraint, your mind full of bad images, you want to run, obsessions that make you think it will never stop, dry mouth, desire to eat something, even desire for something to destract and SO ON). ITS VERY IMPORTANT to record ALL YOUR MIND CHANGES when you suffering from PTSD. After your first training you might be still confused, take a rest for a time, go listen to music or watch tv or listen audiobook, whatever you want to get yourself RELAXED. After about 3 hours you must watch your own video BEFORE and AFTER ptsd trigger, and also listen to your thoughts about mind change that you recorded on a dictaphone.
When your brain is relaxed you are starting to receive that information better and after you listening and watching your records (VERY VERY IMPORTANT) you MUST REMEMBER YOUR FEELINGS WHEN YOU WAS TRIGGERED because if you REMEMBER that then next time you'll triggered again YOU WILL ALREADY KNOW what will happen to you and your brain WILL KNOW what to do, I promise it, if you will say to your brain what changes will happen then it will IGNORE these pain moments, i dont know how it works, but i think brain is just getting understand that these triggers are not belong to present time. I cant really desribe it but if you will try this you will understand me. You need to never forget what you feeling, because its very important. Also you can desribe your feeling however you want, for your better.
Lets say I was playing some pc game and suddenly someone said this trigger word and first of all i thought, HOW can i describe my feeling. I was feeling dizzy and a little slow thinking and being hard to make choices, so i describe it like this: "I am driving a car with gps in it, then suddenly my gps turns off and i have 2 roads to go (left and right), i remember which way to go, but i cant make my choice, because my mind is foggy". And then next time i heard this word, i just said myself "It is like with that car thing" and then my mind IGNORE this trigger because he understand that its FAKE FEELING and i need to play game.
