This forum is absolutely dead, so I figured I would just make a post here, I've never been formally diagnosed, but had this my whole life (currently 20)... but I have severely restricted interests, some asociality, a rich inner fantasy life (i.e. I have friends but I prefer socialize through imagination), and occasional self-stimming behaviours. I guess you could say I have "traits".

A group (around 25 percent) whose symptoms more closely resemble those of autism spectrum disorder, but do not fully meet all its diagnostic signs and symptoms.

Only met a few people with this IRL, but of those same people none of them used their imagination as a substitute for human relationships; actually, thinking about it, I've met virtually no one who does this.

Also I just wanted to add that I actually have a photo of myself growing up, where I lined up toy cars in a row exactly like in this photo below:
