Is age 18 too young to diagnose personality disorders? Although you are an adult at that age, you are a teenager still. I think the best age to diagnose personality disorders is at least 25 or 23 at the youngest.

I used to suffer from acute anxiety and panic attacks. I tried various anxiety medications, but none provided relief. Got a lot of help, insight, understaning etc here years ago - but never 100% felt I fitted in - now know that was because I was in the wrong section here - because I had been wrongly diagnosed.

Is this possible? I always see people talking about having very distinct alters as if that's synonymous with having overt DID, but all of our main parts are very different.
