I simply do not think 'disorder' is an appropriate term for narcissism. It is how our mind is programmed and only called a 'disorder' and other terms similar to that word because we are not the majority.

Why is the term 'wired' so much worse for you to hear than the term 'disorder' that is used 100 times more on a daily basis by everyone else? What word do you think would be more appropriate?

Synonyms: active, all ears, bright, cagey, careful, circumspect, clever, fast on the draw, good hands, heads up, heedful, hip, intelligent, jazzed, observant, on guard, on one's toes, on the ball, on the job, on the lookout, on the qui vive, perceptive, psyched up, quick, ready, sharp, spirited, switched on, vigilant, wary, watchful, wide-awake, wired , wise, with it

Tell me.. which synonym for wired sounds like a better match to you?

Why should we need to self improve?

Should we not simply accept ourselves for who we are? I mean in reality much of your personality was either decided at birth or was given through your childhood.

You can probably change very little about yourself and relatively little about others.
Hello new friend my name is Fred, the words you hear are in my head. I say I said my name is Fred and I've been very...naaaaughty.

Right. In my free time, though, i like to do things that give me more knowledge to arm myself with. You can not say that every narc does not do this. Maybe i worded this thread wrong, but no one seems to get the bigger picture

I do not do this. I already have all the knowledge I need. I cannot recall utilizing anything I did in my free time to 'arm myself with'. A narcissist does not need self-improvement. We already are equipped with everything to be ourselves.

Only a 'non' needs to learn new ways to manipulate/play games with people. Narcs don't play games. We simply act upon exactly how we are and feel.

In my free time, I am working on my external self and interactions with potentials into my life.

He thinks he is a narc, regardless of what everyone tells him.

He isn't and never will be. Hopefully one day he will eventually give up 'trying' and accept one can't simply wake up one day and choose to be like this.

I can't blame him though. So many people want to be like us. It is an easier life sometimes.

Exactly. This is my arena, not "yours" (narcs). Moreover, it's true what you usually say here: "it's only a game for one side". It is. My side. People are lab rats to me. This is how I learned to survive.

Tired: When I told you to look under your nose, I didn't mean your enlarged penis.

Besides, unless you're gay, I don't see why you would seriously want to bang me. Personally, the closest thing to it I'd like to do with you is to cut your balls out. Might be fun.

Believe me, i understand what you guys are saying.

Let me give you an example of what i mean.

I picked up Chinese and Anthro because i knew it would make me seem like a more diverse person. I simply wanted to broaden the masks i have to choose from. Of course i know i already am the best, that goes without saying. I figured you would take my word for it instead of question it. But anyway, i didn't improve myself , obviously as you stated, this never crosses my mind, BUT I improved my portrayal of "people". Also, i come off as more worldly, even though anthro just makes me more ethnocentric.

Get the notion out of your head that i am trying to be something i am not, and reread this post thoroughly.

Because confidence is sexy. It obviously was a joke, so do not flatter yourself too much. Although i am sure i would love to bang since i like to have sex with people that have power, or at least portray it

Sure, it was a joke here. But that's how you'll eventually get your kidney stolen. Seems like your ex has already eaten some of it anyway.

Your post and everything you have posted about before is about 'trying to be something you are not'. That is what you do not understand. A narc does not have to try to be anybody but themselves.
