My husband accepts me. He tells me he doesn't care that I'm a Narc, lol. He just doesn't like how I spend money. Yes, I need to change that! NPD is so profoundly misunderstood.

I think other PDs (probably mostly undiagnosed and unaware), and also codependents.

I hate that "unaware" stuff. I'm sure most people, PD or non, are aware that they have flaws or that they are quirky or weird in some way.

A person with PD certainly has some kind of flaw, but I wouldn't call it quirky or weird behavior.

The most important and the most hard part is that the narcissist accepts himself/herself.
Acceptance from important people in our lives may help the process of self-acceptance, but we have to do the work. Hard work.

Works both ways. A person who accepts themselves, will be able to accept a narcissist, and won't be bothered by the antics. They'll be able to recognize the bad, but also the good.
Some Narcissists will stay away from such people. Anyone who has the capacity to see the false act, and call them out on it is a threat to be avoided.

I would have accepted a narcissist but he did not accept my over-the-top BPD traits. Of course, I would never intentionally look for a narc. I feel I liked the person underneath that, but maybe I did not and it was something else entirely.

I take it back. I wouldn't accept a narc. I just read a post on here that exemplified it and doesn't have any comments yet, and, yea... Some people do though.

I thought the question meant 'will society accept narcissists?', not 'what kind of person will have a relationship with a narcissist?'
