Everybody ignores me

Everyone ignores me. EVERYONE. Nothing I write is important enough to care. You all get satisfied with telling me to see a psychiatrist. That's very helpful. No one cares about me, either everyone has issues with reading comprehension or no one bothers to read my things (or I can't write). This makes me hate people a lot. Keep ignoring me, I don't mind.

Well, I'm not ignoring you. What would you like to say, since I'm here and I'm listening?

I'm not ignoring you, though technically I don't fall under the definition of "everyone.". Also, I distrust psychiatrists and wouldn't recommend a person go to one if they've already been through hell with them, as you seem to have.

What do you want to say? What is it you have to get off your chest that no one is understanding/is ignoring you over? Anything I've read of yours, I'm certain I've understood, though I've only ever commented on one thread you were in before now. I'm also rather certain I've actually read what I've seen of your posts on this forum. Say what you want to say, and I, among the others present here, will certainly read your words. If necessary, I'm sure we will ask you to clarify what you've said if we've misinterpreted anything.

Lilu , I would like to help you , I really would , but honestly , I swear I have no idea how. Everything I say seems to make you feel worse. I don't know what you want.

Everyone I told about my brother coming home ignored me. I know it's not juicy and interesting enough because he stopped sexually abusing me but I feel awful when he's here. It's a nightmare and my mother who doesn't know thinks I'm a horrible person because I hate my brother. Everyone whom I told about him being at home ignored this, apparently thinking it's nothing important since he doesn't abuse me now. I just watched a doc about self-injury and a girl advised us to talk to someone cos it helps. ######6 lie! That's a horrible lie! NO ONE HELPS, TALKING TO SOMEONE NEVER HELPS. I KNOW EVERYONE IS AGAINST ME AND EVERYONE WANTS ME TO DIE. It's almost a week and he's still here. I don't talk to him, so I dunno when would he finally leave. I have to cope with this alone because everyone ignores me.

What amazes Polish learners of English is the number of tenses, we have only three but I'm quite sure I mastered that. However, when I told about my brother to a stupid Brit he said: oh, that's horrible, at least he's gone now, so you can relax. I never said he left; it was painful because he was still here and the person didn't pay attention to my words. To make it funnier, same situation took place a week before- I was talking about my bad childhood memories and he said: I see you have pretty powerful GOOD memories. That just makes me wanna kill myself right now.

You have no idea how it is to check several times if the bathroom door is really locked or changing clothes in a split of a second to minimise the risk of him seeing me naked. He pisses me off and so does my mother because she loves him and hates me. I sometimes think of telling the truth just to hurt her and finally prove she's a bad mother.

You all are liars, horrible liars, was it realy worth lying to me about NOT ignoring me? You feel good when you deceive somebody? You could conform at the beginning that you do ignore me, rather than lying to me. Thank you a lot for this, another example of everyone being against me. you all want to hurt me and want me to die.

Lilu, hun, people here are trying to support you. Sometimes people might say the wrong thing, and may not hear exactly what you're saying, but that is because we are all human, you included, and we all might get things wrong sometimes. That doesn't mean that people don't care. The people who have responded to you are all also dealing with some pretty heavy stuff, yet they find the time to reply to you in spite of this. That is a sign of real compassion.

What you went through with your brother is really awful, and finding the right therapist can help you to find a way out of the painful feelings you're going through right now. It seems as if these feelings are all pervasive, affecting every area of your life, and no matter how much we listen, we can't give you the help that the right therapist for you would give.

I know that sometimes miscommunications occur when there is a language difference, but we can't allow you to call someone a "stupid Brit" as this is racist. I hear your pain, and I hear your anger, but please don't use terms such as this as they're not helpful.

No one wants to hurt you and no one wants you to die. Hun, because of all the pain you have been through, it seems to you as if the whole world is against you. This really isn't true. You sound as if you desperately want to let people in, and yet your anger at the world prevents you. It's a viscious circle, going round and round. The way to get out of that loop is to find a therapist who is right for you.

Hun, if you feel suicidal, you really must call the emergency services.

Lilu, your tone is now becoming offensive towards me. Please remember that you are talking to a moderator, who has already given you more than enough leeway. Insulting comments towards people because of their race will not be tolerated on this site, and neither will speaking to a moderator in this way.

People on here have gone out of their way to be helpful towards you, me included.
