Twitching?

Postby stubborn-envelope » Sun Jun 12, 2005 9:06 pm

Is it normal for antipsychotic medication to cause twitching? I'm on Seroquel. I have occasional twitches, but today I've had lots, as well as flat emotions and difficulty making facial expressions.

I wouldn't know, I'm not on meds, but I do twitch a lot, but it's probably just from air conditioning.

living with mental illness

James,

call your doctor asap. Resperidone can cause a disorder called Tardivdyskenisia. It is a disorderthat can last a life time. It may be just tics but it could be the other. It is a serious disorder. I was on Resperidone also. I did not have this side effect but I know about it because I work in the mental health field. Look up Resperidone on the internet and also Tardivdyskenisia. ( I dont know if I spelled it right)
