My Dilemma - Playing Free Play

Postby riseNfast » Mon Aug 31, 2015 3:23 am

Hello everyone! Because I played a lot this month, this casino gave me $150 worth of free play every week for the month of September. I am thinking of going there, playing that free play (once a week til the end of September) and never come back again.

Would you recommend playing this free play and then leave when the free play is over? :|

When I read this post, the first thing that came to mind was,""YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING."

If this is not a joke, then you are really kidding yourself.........It's like an alcoholic saying, I just found this unopened bottle of good whiskey; should I finish this before I quit for good?

You probably know this yourself, and if you are fishing for a recommendation, here's mine:

Leave your free play to the casino.......forget about it .......and let it go.........if you are really serious about quitting gambling.......

I am sorry to see you post this, because it makes me doubt your sincerity about quitting........

Haha I am actually expecting a reply like yours, but I do appreciate your thoughts.

To be honest, this is one of the causes of my gambling urges: thinking of not wasting the free plays by using them to at least get some bucks. But then, experience tells me that this could also feed to my GA. Anyway, my GF counter will be locked and guarded.

Hopefully, we can get the opinion of other posters here.

Hi
I got offered the free play and lost it in 30 seconds.
Then I thought fk I have relapsed and came here looking for answers.
I also played on using a demo account and won $20k (of fake money, and then lost it all.
I discovered my problem is in the gambling activity I just enjoy doing it - that's my problem.
But I'm still going strong - GF
Do what ever.you gotta do just don't gamble your money.
I gambled demo free spins for a while now I am bored of it.
Look at your debt everyday and tackle it - no one else can - it's your problem and only you can sort it out.
Stay strong and fight the fire - Rozza 8)

I don't think you are going to find anyone here who will tell you it's a good idea in any way , shape or form .

And I'm pretty sure you know that . So I am kind of wondering , what's the point of asking this question ?

Here's my answer - you're a grown adult . You're going to do what you're going to do . If you want to gamble , go gamble .

If you want to quit , post here for encouragement and don't ask ridiculous questions like this one .

Just got back from holiday and looked at my emails, had i not already deleted them all ,i would have screen shot the 200+ mainly gambling related offers of freeplay etc.

Phone your casino up and ask them to send you your ``freeplay`` as a cheque that you can bank ,i think there response will answer the question that you ask.

Best wishes.

NewSun: My thoughts exactly; I found it kind of ridiculous to see that kind of question being posted.

It is interesting to read the polarity of the responses here-- from very bold responses against the context of the thread to subtle replies.

As I posted earlier, my GF counter is locked and guarded; that my FP won't be used.

I should say the purpose of this thread is moot and academic. :)

When I closed my last account, I had $160 free play. Still closed it and never looked back as I know I would've played that plus some....
