This honestly doesn't strike me as elder abuse, though.
It's awful, but this is just a family turning on one member for their money. Choosing a mom over a dad, or inheritance over love. I wouldn't read the above story about dear F and think "elderly abuse". Can F move out at all? Or is that 1.5 million only after he dies? What about a great adult living environment? Like out of state. His family sounds like real a**holes, pardon me for saying.
