It inspires us A LOT! And it helps us understand some things. Reading it together helps us all get along better because we can compare experiences.

some days its too much. need to drag Asti away from her work.
otherwise she would take the whole day for herself.
we are trying this new thing, its a system to get house work done. but somehow it ends of with monday being Astis day and i dont think i am ok with that.
i think its not good for us. she cant keep balance properly.

Hello Everyone
I'm James I'm 12 years old I'm no sure if I belong in this group of the group for The Littles with how I don't see myself as little and I'm not a teenager either. So I'm not sure which group that I belong to so I figured I would try this group. GrayWolf has been doing a lot of writing lately and if any of the littles try to ask her anything or even try to talk to her they get grounded for two months. Many of us don't see it as fair so to keep them busy we put on cartoons or a movie for them. Though GrayWolf will stop writing sometimes to eat something though sometimes it's hard to even get her to do that. Her husband will come and ask her when she's going to bed and she always says in a few minutes. That she just wants to finish the paragraph that she is working on that once she is done she will come to bed. Though she usually doesn't go to bed until 6am she just continues to write until then when she notices the time she will go to sleep. Though sometimes she will stop writing for a few minutes to pet her cat Shiva with how the cat will bite her hand and nudge her hand and meow at her until she does pet her. She will also decide to lay on top of GrayWolf's hands so she can't write anything until she pets her for a few minutes. Then Shiva will curl up next to GrayWolf and stay there for the rest of the night. My thing is I think GrayWolf spends too much time writing and not enough time doing fun things. Even though I have been told she finds writing fun to do and it relaxes her. I hope that she kind find something fun to do that is relaxing its not much fun for us when she is writing all the time.
Any one have any movie or TV show suggestions that we might like to watch?
thank you
have a nice day/night
James

Lol, I meant to go to the Littles thread, but ended up here somehow. I was freaking out, wondering where our posts went and who you all are and stuff.

Hi, James!

My name is Pip (male) and I'm 12, too. :D Jadden (age 11) and I have been posting in the littles thread, but we've been having trouble relating to those smaller kids. We've been thinking that we need a thread for our own age group, too. I'm going to search first and see if there isn't a pre-teens thread already that's just gotten lost. If there isn't one, I'll just go and make one. :)

There's no preteens thread that we're aware of.

How do we as a community define "preteen?"

FWIW, we measure our system by the following age groups:

Littles - age 7 and under
Middles/Tweens - ages 8-11
Teens - ages 12-17+
Adults - age 18 and older

This is just an example. Each system has their own way of handling things. Our particular way is based on our external experiences growing up. There was no concept of "preteens" in the early 1970s.

Looking forward to seeing what other folks come up with.

Some people aren't comfortable in the Littles thread or the Teen thread. That's a good reason to make a Tween thread.

Agreed. Which brings us back to our original question: How do we define "tween"?
