We actually had a good day.

But the "woman stuff" started, so I guess that's why?

Yucky, yucky, yucky, yucky stuff ...

So, what's crappy about being a man? :) (Don't answer that.)

today we met with one of our friends for the last time.
she is living her life, making choices. they lead her away.
we just stand there and watch, there is nothing we could do.
she is choosing risk and heartbreak and messy messes, dependent relationships, money problems, adultery, lying to everyone who loves her and running away.
today was probably the last time we saw her after a 12 year friendship.
she avoids those who love her because they say uncomfortable things.
we have to respect that.
it is a sad day.

Hi birdsong,

It's sad when friends leave and really sad when they leave for stupid reasons.

Just an update on some things:

I think what I called "PMS" was really "PMDD", and the last D stands for "disorder". Going to talk to a doctor about it. (Would be great to take that out of our "werewolf cycle".)

Still need to schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist. Hoping we can move forward with our psychological issues once our physical ailments are conquered. :)

Still getting adjusted to being back in childhood home (nothing weird happened here), and the dad being dead. All family that we had anything to do with are gone now. Sometimes that is OK, but sometimes it just reinforces that we got nobody left. Lots of anger at other "family" who kicked us to the curb when the grandma died, so they profited over dead siblings. We ended contact with them (they still send Christmas and birthday cards like everything is OK), and sadly their kids (cousins) as well. Not like we had anything to do with them much, but it was the whole thing about being singled out with something that wasn't true. Best thing about grandma dying was that we don't have to be fake with seeing other "family".

Kids and teens a lot closer to the surface now, and it's kind of OK since we don't have anybody who will come over unannounced, and we can just close the door if we don't want to see them.

the pain in the facial nerves is back.
like a serious migraine in the face.
pain sucks. when you have to stay calm and calm co-conscious kids...
