I have something similar to DDNOS that has helped me through a lot of anxiety. I know this sounds strange but I/we can explain it via pm if you need to know. Anyway, back on topic: my part/facet finally came back after not being around for a while (at least 7-8 months) and I'm so excited to have her back, as I tend to be a bit lonely. Should I be happy or scared (I'm feeling both)?

I can sometimes be without mine for several months usually when things are secure - then when things start to wobble they all separate back out again I then generally find that one of us has been in charge or too dominant which means no one else has had a look in and they get ignored and this ultimately causes chaos, then gradually everybody pops back up. It can be quite a distressing time, but when I start to recognise everyone there is an overwhelming sense of relief and I begin to understand why things have been difficult. I then go through a period of checking - just about everything I do or any decisions I make I have to make sure is alright with everybody.
