Hi I know you posted this some time ago, but I just found this forum. I was curious if you ever went to therapy to try and recover memory and how did it go?

I recovered some pretty horrific memories when I was teenager in therapy by accident. It was awful. After it happened my life just went completely out of control for years. It also made me very fearful of therapy and I refused to go for years. I guess my best advice to anyone reading this is that if you want to recover memory in therapy, please don't stop going afterwards! Your therapist is going to have to help you with the after effects.
