Please help

Postby SSsushiRolls » Sat Dec 31, 2016 12:02 am

I am a teen who self harms, my parent don`t know I self harm and I'm not ready to tell them yet. In a few days I have to go swimming with my family and they're going to see my cuts. I've tried to get out of it by telling them that I feel ill but it's not working. What do I do? Please help! I really don't want them to find out.

Why don't you want them to know? They might be very supportive and want to help you

You're either going to have to come up with a good excuse, or tell them.

I think you should tell them.

Are you afraid to tell them! Maybe they can get you help for this. You're still young, you don't want to get trapped in the cycle of self harm, sweetie.
Tell someone you love them today, because Life is short. But scream it at them in Klingon, because Life is also terrifying and confusing.

ISFP. And a bunch of weirdness.

We do not delete posts.
Let it go.
Without (forum) rules, we all might as well be up in a tree flinging our crap at each other.

Are you afraid of them or their reaction?

It is better to tell your parents about this because parents can easily understand their kids and they'll surely support you. Please don't hide anything from them. So tell them before it's too late.
