The Positive Achievements Thread

Postby lilyfairy » Sun Jun 15, 2014 12:26 pm

This thread is here for all of us to come up with a positive achievement we've made for the day and to give each other encouragement. Big or small, it doesn't matter, so long as it's something positive you've achieved. You're allowed to be proud of your achievements and boast a bit!

It might be something like "I haven't cut for five days" or "I was honest with my therapist about how I am feeling", or "I got out of the house today to go to the shops".

The thread we originally had got a bit lost, so this is the shiny new one.

I'll go first- I got most of the letter written that I need to submit with my disability application today.

Yay!

I went to church and did coffee as was on the rota plus spoke to the ppl I needed to to sort things out and organised lunch with a friend later in the week. I also did messy church with the kids yesterday and did a drawing for them to paint which came out really well

Good work Lily!

Lily I know you're worried about the appeal, so good luck and well done for working your way through it.

Cracked I'm pleased you're making positive plans and that church is keeping you busy...... does that mean you will be too busy to kick my butt this week? :D (always good to know these things, in case I feel mischievous)

I went to a 'new' place today. I didn't feel scared or triggered and a bonus was being able to hold things a little more easily (re op arm).

My latest positive achievement is I managed to steal smurf's flower and turn it into potpourri

I also have managed to eat healthily today and not buy chocolate despite wanting to very much as chocolate is yummy

How can not eating chocolate be a positive? That is the worse thing in the world. Chocolate makes the world go round...... I have scoffed my kids chocolate buttons in honour of Cracked despite her cruel potstinkycatpourri comment.

I guess another positive achievement is managing to take painkillers sensibly and not even slightly od
